Privacy policy
Your reading stays yours.
Last updated 25 October 2026
Easy Tracking Books has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. You do not need an account: without one, your library stays in this browser. If you sign in, your library is stored on our server so it follows you between devices. Book searches and price checks go through our server to Google Books, or from your browser to Open Library (see below).
Who is responsible
Responsible for this service: Manuel Torralvo Collados, private individual, Switzerland · support@vorax81.com. Questions, data requests and deletion: the same address. You may also complain to your data protection authority (Switzerland: FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch; EU: your national authority).
What is stored
Your books (title, authors, year, ISBN, Amazon ID, cover link, pages, language), their status, format and store, your ratings, notes, reading dates and current page, and your settings such as the search language. The last prices seen for your wishlist books stay on the device only (they are not synced). Without an account this is kept in your browser's local storage only. Local storage is also used for your sign-in and your language; it is strictly needed and no cookies are used for tracking.
Account and sync (optional)
- Your library is stored in a database we operate on Supabase, a hosted database provider. Database region: Ireland (AWS eu-west-1).
- Signing in creates an email and password account. The sign-in is shared with the other vorax81 apps; deleting the account removes the data of those apps too.
- Row-level security limits every row to your own account. As the operator of the database we have the access any hosted-service operator has; we look at your data only to run or repair the service.
Book search and covers
When you search, your browser sends the search text and the chosen language to our server (Cloudflare), which passes it on with our own key to Google Books (Google LLC, United States): Google sees our server, not your network address. The same happens when prices are checked for the books on your wishlist: the ISBN, or the title and author, and the country of your store go to Google Books and to Apple Books (Apple Inc., United States; its iTunes Search service), and nothing else. Apple, too, sees our server, not your network address. If Google Books is not available, or you choose it, the search goes straight from your browser to Open Library, a project of the Internet Archive in the United States, which then sees your network address. Covers are loaded by your browser from Google Books or Open Library, which see your network address like any website. The Kindle button on a book only opens an Amazon search in a new tab when you tap it; Amazon's privacy policy applies from there. Nothing else about you or your library is sent. Nothing is sent unless you search, open the wishlist or a wishlist book, or open a page with covers.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes the network address of each request under its own privacy policy. We add no analytics. Fonts and scripts are served from this site, not from third parties.
Why we may do this, how long, your rights
We process your data to provide the service you asked for (contract). Data stays until you delete it or delete your account. You have the right to access, correct, delete and export your data and to object; write to the address above. Data may be processed outside Switzerland and the EU by Supabase, Cloudflare, Google, Apple and the Internet Archive; they use their own safeguards.
Deleting your data
Delete single books in the app. To delete your account and everything stored for it, tap Delete account under Sync across devices in Settings; the account deletion page explains it. If you cannot sign in, write to support@vorax81.com.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If the service starts doing something this page does not describe, the page is updated first and the date above changes.
