Privacy policy
Your log stays on your device, unless you sign in to sync.
Last updated 29 September 2026
Easy Tracking Time has no analytics and no advertising. Everything you log is stored on your device — or, on the web version, in your browser — unless you choose to sign in. Signing in is entirely optional and not needed to use the app.
What the app stores
Work days, breaks, vacation, sick days and public holidays you log, your target hours per day, and the settings that shape how the app behaves. On iOS and Android this lives in an on-device database. On the web version it lives in this browser's local storage.
None of it is uploaded anywhere unless you go to Settings and sign in.
Sync (optional)
The web version can optionally sync your log to our database, so the same log follows you between your devices. If you sign in:
- Your log is stored in a database we operate, running on Supabase, a hosted database provider.
- Row-level security restricts every row to the account that wrote it — no other person using the app can read your log through the app.
- As the operator of that database, we have the same level of access any hosted-service operator does — we don't access your log except as needed to run or fix the service, and there's nothing else in it: no name, no payment details, nothing but your work log and the email you signed in with.
- Signing in creates an email/password account with Supabase's own authentication service, governed by Supabase's own privacy policy.
- Not signing in means nothing about your log ever leaves the device.
Analytics, advertising and third-party tracking
There are none. The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising network and no social media tracker. Nothing about your use of the app is measured or reported.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual days in the app, or clear everything at once from Settings. On iOS and Android, uninstalling removes the database and everything in it. If you've signed in to sync, deleting a day locally marks it deleted rather than removing it outright, so the deletion reaches every device you've synced — this includes the server copy on the next sync.
To delete your account and the server copy of your log entirely — not just mark it deleted — email vorax81@gmail.com and we'll remove it. This isn't yet a self-serve button in the app; it will be if enough people use sync to make that worth building.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone, of any age, beyond the email address needed if you choose to sign in for sync.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts doing something this page doesn't describe, this policy will be updated before that ships, and the date at the top will change with it.
