Why doesn't a vacation day change my balance?

By design. Vacation, sick and holiday days credit a full target day unless you set a different number of hours for them, which makes them balance-neutral — the point of a target day is that it's the day you were owed regardless of what you actually did with it.

Why doesn't an un-logged weekday count against my balance?

Because the log has no way to know whether you meant to work that day. Treating every blank day as -8h would be a guess dressed up as a fact. The balance only ever counts days you actually entered — log the day, and it counts; leave it blank, and it's simply not part of the total yet.

Does the web version talk to the phone apps?

Yes. Sign in with the same account on the web version and in the iOS or Android app, and your log follows you between them. Without signing in, each one keeps its own copy on its own device.

What happens if I turn sync on, then off again?

Signing out in Settings just stops this browser from talking to our database — your local log is untouched, and it keeps working exactly as it did before you signed in. The data already sent stays in our database until you ask for it to be deleted (see the privacy policy).

Can I edit or delete a day I logged weeks ago?

Yes — the Calendar tab opens the same editor for any date, past or future, that Today uses for today. There's no separate "correction" flow; editing an old day is the same as logging a new one.

Is there a live clock-in/out timer on the web?

No — that's on the iPhone and Watch apps only for now. The web version is built for setting a day's times directly (start, break, end), which is faster than watching a timer count up when you're at a keyboard anyway.

What's being worked on

  • A work-week setting, so weekends don't need marking by hand.
  • Half-day support for vacation and sick entries on the web (the phone apps already allow it).
